A precision print-supply storefront for South Coast Designs, the Orange County family business that has shipped Rotatrim paper trimmers, cutter heads, and mount boards since 1980. The build turns a forty-five-year offline supplier into a full online catalog with a built-in B2B quoting system, pairing a real heritage story with the specs and reorder tools print shops actually use.

Project Goals

South Coast Designs came to Convertive as a respected name with no real storefront. Founded in Orange County in 1980 by Maggie Keary, the business had supplied precision paper trimmers to print shops and a national retail print network for forty-five years, almost entirely offline. The brief was to bring that reputation online without losing it: a catalog customers could actually shop, a wholesale channel for the shops that reorder, and a homepage that makes the family history and the reliability clear in the first few seconds.

Conversion Benefits

The full Rotatrim Pro range sits in one collection, and each product page leads with the specs a buyer checks first, cut length, capacity, and paper size, before the build details below. Every product carries two clear actions: buy a single unit at checkout, or add it to a running quote. The quote drawer collects a shop's whole list and sends it straight to the team, so high-volume buyers get a standing quote within one business day instead of abandoning a cart. A dedicated B2B page captures wholesale and procurement leads with net-30 and PO-workflow messaging built for the way print shops purchase.

Design

The design leans into the heritage. A warm cream and navy palette, a serif display face, and an editorial About page tell the 1980 founding story with archive-style photography. A repeating Est. 1980 seal and a quiet, confident layout signal a supplier that has done this for decades, while the product and B2B pages stay clean and utilitarian so professionals can move fast. The result reads as established and trustworthy, matching a business whose entire value is reliability.
